Party on the Pier @ Jamestown Settlement | Williamsburg | Virginia | United States

“Party on the Pier” will be held at Jamestown Settlement on Saturday, June 23, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  Proceeds benefit educational programs of the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation and its museums, Jamestown Settlement and the Yorktown Victory Center.  All-inclusive tickets, which go on sale June 1, include dinner and live entertainment on the ships’ pier.  Against the backdrop of Jamestown Settlement’s re-created 1607 ships, guests can savor the sounds of regional band Slapwater and views of a James River sunset while partaking in a full barbecue dinner by Bill’s World Famous Barbecue of Wilson, N.C.  The Susan Constant will be open for guests to board, and costumed historical interpreters will be on hand.  Tickets – $20 for adults and $5 for children age 3 through 12 – are available for advance purchase through June 22 on the website or by calling (757) 253-4722. On the day of the event, tickets will be sold at the event entrance only, at $25 for adults and $5 for children age 3 through 12. Chairs and blankets are welcome; coolers are not permitted.  The event is sponsored by TowneBank, 92.3 FM The Tide, 107.9 Bach FM, and Williamsburg Yorktown Daily – WYDaily.com.
